Fly Fighter Planes gives you a chance to finally fulfill your childhood dream of becoming a fighter pilot. Experience one of the most thrilling adventures of the world in one of the most advance fighter jets MiG 29 in Russia. Russia is the only place in the world which allows you to actually fly a real fighter jet!

There are two Aerobatic Flight Programs that are of different durations and different speed accelerations, with one accelerating to the Supersonic speeds.

Aerobatic Subsonic Flights (25min)*: The most basic MiG fighter program during which the pilots will be performing Maneuvers from simple to advance as per your wishes and health conditions. Here you will NOT be accelerating to the Supersonic Speeds, i.e greater than the speed of Sound!
Aerobatic Supersonic Flight (45mins): This is the advanced version of the above program where you will have more time for range of Aerobatic Maneuvers as per your wish and your personal health conditions. On top of that you will be able to accelerate to the supersonic speeds! You can experience the overloads of 3Gs to 7Gs during the flight.

Some of the Aerobatics Maneuvers performed during both the programs are:

Rolls
Inverted flight
Loops
Split-S
Vertical dive

Curves
Tail-Slide
Combat turns
Hummer head
Low level pass

The core elements of MiG 29 Aerobatics program:

For 45 minute Flight:

Speed acceleration on high speed (min MACH 1.4 to max MACH 2.5);
Low Level Flight over the runway, speed acceleration on ca. 960 km/h;
G-Ex” Maneuver, acceleration on 3G, then absolutely very fast on 5.5G;
Descent Flight back to the airbase (Descent profile demonstration)
Full complex of aerobatic manoeuvres (rols, loops, tail slide, etc)
Low pass over runway on 15 meters altitude

*25 minute flights are Subsonic and will have less time for various Aerobatic manoeuvres.

Fly Fighter Planes offers you with the option of MiG-29 Flight only or a complete package tour to Russia including the MiG-29 Flights.
MiG-29 package trips are further divided into economy and business class. The difference between these packages is in the level of hotel accommodation, availability of excursions, dinners, transfers (Hotel- Airbase, Airbase-Hotel is included), etc. We will assign experts as your personal managers, who will assist you throughout and create a complete custom made tailored experience for you. We will make sure that your stay is hassle-free and that you have time of your life!

Your Typical Flight Day at Sokol Airbase:

9:00 - 9:30 am
Transfer to Sokol Airbase from your Hotel.

9:45 am
Arrival at Sokol Airbase, Security Check.

9:45 - 10:30 am
Guided tour of Sokol Airbase Company Museum with history, facts, and figures.

10:30 - 11:00 am
Sokol Runway Flight Station, meeting with your Pilots and Instructors, briefing on the Flight Plan and on MiG fighter.

11:15 am
Medical Check up, Blood Pressure test with general health conditions.

11:30 am
Dressing room, put on G-suits, Personal flight suit (if ordered), Helmet fittings, Oxygen mask testing & demonstration by the pilot on how to use them.

12:00 pm
Transfer to runway, MiG 29 Inspection with details about the aircraft and cockpit & explaining of Radio communications and Instruments.

12:30 pm
SHOW TIME.. ENGINES ON! Flights last for 25 to 45 mins as per your program. Take off with immense power and super fast speed. Pilots will test your Tolerance to space G forces. You’ll break speed barriers and climb to an altitude of 18-19 kms and will pass Mach 2 soon with aerobatics manoeuvres to follow.

Landing with Canopy Open, Photos with crew, pilot, and MiG 29.

13:45 - 14:30 pm
Change & shower. Small Ceremony with you receiving a certificate from your pilot which Validates your MiG 29 flight!

14:45 pm
Transfer to your Hotel.
